All the hype about lpr! First I would like to say that any repossession company that purchase an LPR system to get rich is simply insane. LPR simply an added tool to increase recoveries and your income. I have been in repossession industry for over 10 years my first purchase of LPR I was just like any other company looking for the best option available. After searching the industry through all the LPR providers it was very very simple that most lpr providers are forwarders. For any company to depend on a forwarding company for their survival and repossession orders is again simply insane. The additional cost of 15000 to 16,000 dollars for LPR system is again simply insane. I as a company owner would never allow any forwarding company to control my repossession accounts are my LPR software. Why would any repossession company as myself and many of you there alike purchase any lpr system where the LPR provider controls every aspect what you do how you do it and when you do it. Purchasing cameras! for one when I purchased mine they are MINE. for two I put them on my vehicles I supply the insurance. I supply the wear and tear on the car/truck and I supply the fuel. LPR software provider supplies only the LPR software that I purchased my LPR system through. So why would I pay my provider for the system and give them a part of my lpr locate hits and when I get a live hit I don't have to beg or wait or call my provider to pick it up. I think many recovery companies should recheck the lpr providers today and regroup. I purchased my 1st lpr system 4 years ago and my 2nd system 2 years ago. I don't get what my provider wants to send me when I sell my locate I get it ALL. I don't have to scan 100k tags a month because I get ALL my locate sales and NOT a percentage. So I make more and can do less than others that use forwarding lpr systems. I am a successful repossession company with the added lpr systems proudly provided by RepoSystems. The 2 systems cost me less that 1 system by others in the industry. I could buy another system and still be less expensive than others. Hmm... 3 system's for the price of 1? You do the math. Oh and yes I hit units in the national hit list that pay 625.00 how many lpr users can say that.
